Acting 2 - The Actor & Text

  • Entry requirements Minimum age 17 years old
  • Course description Introductory and specialist short courses and intensives in acting and performance making offered over weekends or once a week over 6 to 8 weeks.

    Working on scripted scenes, develop a step-by-step approach that includes script analysis, using text and language to generate character choices, physicality and status The course will help you develop a tool kit of acting strategies and techniques to make the script work for you: clarifying the shifts and changes that clue you in to your character, breaking the text down into workable units, using the words to generate character choices, and more.

    Acting 1 or some previous experience preferred.

    Acting 1 & 2 can be done concurrently.
