The Training Package requirements for RTE30203 Certificate III in
    Agriculture (Beef Production) are:

A total of 16 units of competency must be completed

    -   7 units must be selected from Group A (including the 1 designated
    compulsory unit)
    -   6 additional units must be selected from Group A and/or B
    -   3 additional units must be selected from Groups A, B and/or C

For a Certificate III in Agriculture (Beef Production) at least 12 of the
units of competency presented for this qualification must relate to beef
production work procedures, activities or contexts. In addition, at least
12 of the units selected to make up this qualification must be aligned
clearly to Certificate III outcomes. Elective units should be selected in
accordance with local work undertaken and local industry advice.

The Certificate III in Agriculture (Beef Production) contains 5 groups
    of units.

Group 1 contains one mandatory unit which directly aligns to the designated
compulsory unit in Group A in the Training Package.

Group 2 contains units addressing the key technical functions that have
been designated for the beef production specialisation at AQF level 3.
These units directly align to the remaining units of competency in Group A
Package.  Learners must complete at least six units from this group.

Group 3 contains units addressing more generic functions that apply to a
range of industry sectors but are also relevant to the beef production
industry. These units directly align to the units of competency in Group B
Package. These units are mainly at AQF level 3. Learners may complete nine
    from this group.

Group 4 contains units addressing relevant units of competency at AQF
levels 2, 3 or 4 from the Conservation and Land Management Training
Package (RTD02), the Rural Production Training Package (RTE03), the
Amenity Horticulture Training Package (RTF03) and/or any other endorsed
Training Packages.  Learners may complete a maximum of three units from
    this group.

However learners should remember that to receive the Certificate III in
Agriculture (Beef Production), 16 units must be completed and at least 12
of the units presented for this qualification must relate to beef
production work procedures, activities or contexts. In addition, at least
12 of the units selected to make up this qualification must be aligned
clearly to units of competency with Certificate III outcomes. Elective
units should be selected in accordance with local work undertaken and
    local industry advice.

Groups 1, 2, 3 and 4 contain units that directly align with the respective
units of competency.  To complete these units, learners must be able to
present evidence to prove they can achieve the unit of competency.  The
course completion requirements specify the units that must be completed
for the learner to achieve the qualification.

Group 777 is an enrichment group that contains 'shell' units which allow
students to complete NSWTHAZ201A and/or NSWTHAZ301A (NSW developed chemical
    units).
