ObjectivesThis major, which can be taken as part of the Bachelor of Agribusiness, will provide you with the theoretical basis of the management and technology of aquaculture, seafood processing and agribusiness. You will choose from a range of units in fish, crustacean and mollusc aquaculture and a combination of technical, management and marketing units. The major will provide you with an agribusiness systems base and a generalised learning program which places emphasis on the development of analytical, management, leadership, communication, information literacy, teamwork and cross-cultural skills. You will graduate with specialised business knowledge and skills relevant to processing, post-harvest handling and marketing.
Entry requirementsTEE Accounting, Biology, Chemistry Economics and mathematics desirable.
