Objectives
The Bachelor of Business program is CQUniversity's premier business management program. The program allows students to undertake studies in a wide range of business and management related fields, which in turn provides students with a wide range of career opportunities. The program also provides students with membership pathways to numerous professional bodies, ensuring that upon completing the program, students receive not only an academic qualification, but recognition of their skills and knowledge within their chosen profession. The program provides a flexible degree pathway, offering a diverse range of courses and providing students the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills relating to the modern business environment.

About Business
It’s all about management. At some time in your working life you will have to manage something. It might be a section or department of a company or corporation or in the government sector. It might be a hospital ward or it might be your own business.
Whether you are just starting to consider your future career or have been working for some time, there is a CQUniversity business degree that can be tailored to suit your particular situation.
Your career or future career may be in consulting, finance, marketing or with a non-profit organisation; or you may be more interested in actually managing the work force.
If you want to learn how business works, to think, strategise and manage – a business degree may help get you there.
Career Opportunities
There are no limitations to where a business degree can take you. Graduates choose from a broad spectrum of occupations including administration officer/manager, quality manager, human resources manager, marketing manager, logistics manager, purchasing and materials manager – just to name a few.
A business career offers diverse employment opportunities and the ability to advance from an entry-level position to supervisor, manager, consultant or senior executive within business, government or non-profit organisations in the industry of your choice.
Program Structure
To satisfy the requirements for the award, students must complete a program of 24 courses (144 units of credit) which comply with the requirements stated below.
Students must complete:
* 6 core courses; and
* 18 courses as detailed for one of the majors listed as available for this program.

* Human Resources Management (this major is accredited by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) - graduates may apply for membership of AHRI);

* Information Systems (this major is accredited by the Australian Computer Society (ACS) - graduates may apply for membership of the ACS); and
* Procurement and Supply (this major is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) - graduates may apply for membership of CIPS).
