Course descriptionAbout the course
This specialisation equips you for a career in marketing management. As a graduate you will be educated to respond to the needs of Australian industry and commerce, particularly in the areas of strategy development, innovation and international marketing.
International students may study this specialisation through CSU regional campuses or the CSU Study Centre Sydney or Melbourne.
Where will it take you
You will be prepared for positions in marketing including product/brand management, marketing research, advertising and sales.
The main responsibilities of the marketing management function include:
* market analysis
* marketing system evaluation
* marketing strategy development
* financial planning and budgeting
* marketing program development and implementation
* marketing evaluation and control
* staff management
* new product development.
Graduation requirements
To graduate, students must satisfactorily complete 192 point s (24 subjects). These subjects are a combination of core subjects, specialisation subjects and electives.
All distance education students are required to have access to a personal computer (IBM PC or compatible) and spreadsheet software capable of reading Excel and/or Lotus 1-2-3 files. Further information on CSU's internet policy is available under Admission Requirements.
