ObjectivesThe honours course consists of a fourth year after students have completed a Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.
Entry requirementsStudents completing a Bachelor of Computer Science within the school (or a comparable undergraduate degree) who normally have a minimum undergraduate course average of 70% may apply for admission to the honours course.

This course structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.
The honours award has two components. The first comprises a study of research methods and two content units chosen in conjunction with the supervisor; the second takes the form of a major honours project.
