    About Learning Design

The Bachelor of Learning Design was developed for professionals who seek teaching qualifications, but not teacher registration. This program is most suited to those who are responsible for instructing or training others, and who want to increase their knowledge of educational practices.

Students are supported by industry-experienced educators – trained to mentor students. These programs are dedicated to the graduation of industry-ready and futures oriented educators.

Note: it is now a requirement of the Commission for Children and Young People that all university students and other volunteers in schools undergo a criminal history check. Therefore it will be necessary for all commencing students to apply for a ‘Suitability Blue Card’ through a nominated person at each campus. The ‘Suitability Blue Card’ remains current for two years.

    Career Opportunities

Graduates are able to work in adult community education and the vocational education and training (VET) sector. This includes TAFE, industry and private training providers and post-compulsory schooling or in a human resource development role in the private or public sector.

The Bachelor of Learning Design is beneficial for professionals who are involved in the facilitation of learning such as nurse educators, defence force instructors, ambulance, police, human resources specialists and other VET professionals.
