Program ratingBiotechnology is part of the Life Sciences department, and directed towards anyone with an interest in living organisms including humans, plants and animals. More specifically the Biotechnology program will allow students to develop new processes and products that are to be used in health, agribusiness, industry and other areas.
EmployabilityAfter studying Biotechnology, job opportunities include forensic science, medical and veterinary sciences, food technology, agriculture and waste management. There are opportunities in both the private and public sector.
