  • Course description Course Description
    This training program is for automotive technicians employed in servicing and repairs to automotive air conditioning systems. The program is designed to comply with new Ozone Protection & Synthetic Greenhouse Gas legislation. Please refer to the Australian Refrigeration Council Ltd’s advice that individuals who attain the above qualification will be considered eligible to obtain an Automotive Air Conditioning Licence.

    Course Length

    This course is available as a flexible delivery program combining the opportunity to attend face-to-face training on Monday evenings and Saturday workshops (dates to be decided by group) with off-campus study. A training resources kit will be used and this will enable participants to combine study in the classroom, workplace or home. The amount of hours participants will need to attend class will be dependant upon their previous experience, knowledge and availability.

    Entry Requirements

    Applicants must have a high degree of motivation and interest along with appropriate literacy and numeracy skills appropriate to this level along with adequate industry experience.
