Certificate II In Engineering

  • Objectives This course is offered as part of a traineeship combining off-the-job training with on-the-job training and practical experience in production/manufacturing. You will learn the knowledge, skills and application required to begin a career as a production worker, or progress your career with recognition of existing skills and acquisition of new skills.
  • Entry requirements Before you commence your training, you will need to gain employment as an engineering production trainee, under a training agreement established with your employer and BRIT. Other Entry Requirements There are no other entry requirements.

    On successfully completing this course you will be eligible for employment in a number of industries, including component manufacturing, general engineering, light engineering, agricultural products, construction, warehousing, and production operations.

    Further Study Options    

    On successfully completing the Certificate II in Engineering, you may choose to apply for enrolment in the  Certificate II in Engineering (Production Systems), Certificate III in Engineering (Trade Streams) or the Diploma of Engineering.
