Duration Options
There are many study options available for the Certificate II in Horticulture (Landscape), including:
- Class based
- Industry based (on-the-job)
- Part time day or evening
- Self paced
The total duration of the training program will be defined by the negotiated training plan, however you are encouraged to complete this qualification within 12 months.

Employment Opportunities
On successful completion of this certificate you will be eligible for employment in the landscape sector as a general hand or a landscape apprentice.
The Certificate II in Horticulture (Landscape) may be accepted as the equivalent of the first year of training required for an apprenticeship, thereby reducing the training component of a landscape apprenticeship by 12 months.
Further Study Options
On successful completion of this certificate you will be able to progress to either the Certificate III in Horticulture (General) or the Certificate III in Horticulture (Landscape), presuming you are employed as a landscape apprentice.
