  • Objectives This course is suitable for people who want to gain the skills and knowledge to work as a legal receptionist or administrator in a legal environment, or in a non-legal office such as an accounting firm or a bank.
  • Entry requirements Basic knowledge of the computer and Micorsoft Office Applications and experience in a business environment would be an advantage. Other Entry Requirements Access to a computer and the internet is required.

    On successfully completing this course, you can find employment opportunities in legal offices, courts and accounting practices in positions such as: bookkeeper, word processing operator, computer operator, legal receptionist/secretary, personal assistant, records/clerical officer or administrative assistant.

    Further Study Options     

    On successfully completing this course you may choose to progress to the Certificate IV in Business (Legal Services). Note: the Certificate IV is not currently offered at BRIT, but is available at Victoria University.

    Assessment     You will be assessed as part of this course.
