ObjectivesThis course reflects the role of people who apply a broad range of business skills in a variety of work situations in an organisation/business. The course is aimed at those who enjoy a role with varied tasks, use some discretion and judgement in their roles, as well as applying some theoretical knowledge while doing their tasks.
Entry requirementsNext to good numeracy and literacy skills you need basic level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and: * Some work experience in a business environment at Certificate II level OR * Completed Certificate II in Business or other relevant qualification OR * Completed year 12 Other Entry Requirements Access to the internet and email, as well as access to a computer with Microsoft Office Applications 2007.

The course is delivered in many different ways such as:
* Classroom based during the day, full time – Planed for February to June 2009
* Multi Mode, self paced learning with a classroom facilitator once a week – Start at any time between February and November 2009
* Distance Learning, self paced study at home, with support via email and phone from a tutor – starting at any time during the year
* Traineeships – Start at any time during the year, maximum length is 18 months
The course is around 445 hours depending on the subjects/units chosen
