  • Objectives The Certificate III in Production Horticulture will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills upon which to build a successful career in the horticulture industry. Training focuses on practical skills required by the production horticulture sector, including: * Introduction to plant physiology / management * Introduction to soils and plant nutrition * Harvest * Canopy management * Pest and disease identification and control * Weed identification and control * Safe use of chemicals * First Aid / OH&S
  • Entry requirements Basic literacy and numeracy. Participants must be employed as a trainee in the production horticulture sector. Other Entry Requirements Participants must be physically fit and prepared to work in an outdoor environment.
