  • Objectives This practical training program is suitable for anyone wishing to work as a team leader or supervisor in conservation and land management.
  • Entry requirements Completion of VCE, VCAL or equivalent, or mature age entry. Other Entry Requirements You will need to attend an information session and an interview.

    Duration Options

    Study options available for the Certificate IV in Conservation and Land Management, include:

    • Class based
    • Industry based (on-the-job)

    The full time Class based program is conducted over 12 months.  A part time program can be negotiated to be undertaken within 24 months.

    Industry based training program will be defined by the negotiated training plan, however you are encouraged to complete this qualification within 24 months.

    Employment Opportunities     

    On successfully completing this course you will be eligible for employment in a wide range of roles, including team leader/supervisor of field crews, cultural officer, park ranger, community group coordinator or private contractor in pest management.
