Duration Options
The course combines classroom learning with on-the-job learning to integrate theory with practice. The course is full time over one year, generally in class for 3 days per week, and will entail field work placement.
The course is also offered flexibly to people who have a minimum of 2 years experience in this field.

Employment Opportunities
On successful completion of this course you will be able to seek employment in adult training and support services, employment services for people with disabilities, recreational services, respite services, educational settings, accommodation services and advocacy and information services. Your primary role will involve supporting and empowering people with low to high support needs, with various disabilities and family circumstances.
