ObjectivesThis course is primarily designed to provide advanced and additional skills to people who hold Engineering Trade qualifications. It can be tailored to meet your learning requirements and can be provide in the workplace. Statements of Attainment will be issued upon your successfully completing units. The successful completion of a prescribed range of these units, together with any acknowledgement of your existing qualifications and any informal prior learning, will allow you to attain your Certificate IV in Engineering. The course may also be undertaken by people who do not hold trade qualifications. To gain the Certificate IV in Engineering, such people will need to undertake the equivalent of 1320 hours of training, less any credit that may be provided for any existing qualifications and informal prior learning.
