  • Entry requirements There are two main ways to apply for courses at Victoria University: through the Victoria Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) or by applying directly to VU.

    You are also required to attend an interview to present a portfolio.

    * Applicants should have satisfactorily completed Year 12 (VCE or equivalent).

    * Course related experience preferred but not essential.

    Applicants without the specified educational prerequisites may be eligible to enter courses if they have relevant work experience and/or can demonstrate their potential to successfully complete their chosen course.

    With the US $22 billion Game Industry demanding highly skilled and creative 3D & 2D Artists, Level Designers, Animators and Programmers, the Certificate IV in Screen and Media - Games Development gives you the kick-start needed to succeed in this fast-paced industry.

    Graduates of the Certificate IV have have gone on to study in the Advanced Diploma of Screen & Media - Games Development. Designed with input from local game development studios, students are taught foundational artistic, conceptualisation, composition, design and programming skills using industry standard tools.
