Introduction to Contemporary Voice Course

  • Course description In this three-day intensive participants will look at aspects of contemporary singing through group and individual practice. Taught by staff from the VCA, this dynamic vocal intensive will introduce you to the techniques necessary to develop your voice as a contemporary singer. The emphasis on developing vocal confidence and practical skills is the conduit to finding your own individual process and vocal style.

    An introduction to contemporary singing as a profession and art form looking at vocal technique, musicianship and performance through the study of different contemporary genres aiming to initiate the elements that establish a versatile singer with a focus on individuality, expression, interpretation and improvisation.
