Course in Building Thermal Performance Assessment (Residential)
ObjectivesThis short course examines a residential building’s thermal performance, covering Design & Construction Theory, Firstrate5 Software Operation & Professional Practice. This course gives the participant the requirements to accurately assess the thermal performance of residential building projects & the statement of attainment required for registering as an accredited building energy rater.
Entry requirementsKnowledge relating to the basic principles of how buildings are constructed can be demonstrated through a current building qualification relating to the construction, design or certification of residential buildings, demonstrated experience in the building industry or experience in working with builders. Other Entry Requirements Statement of Entry requirements form, available from BRIT, must be completed prior to interview.

Duration Options
This course uses an online RPL process for the theory & professional practice. The Firstrate5 software training will run over two days, 16th & 17th of December.
