  • Objectives This course is for highly motivated people with an interest in professional development and a career in IT. It has been designed to suit the needs of people engaged in business employment seeking to extend an IT presence for their business, however it will also suit students seeking employment in specialist areas of Information Technology.
  • Entry requirements You will need advanced IT knowledge to apply for entry into this course, as well as VCE or mature age entry. Students who do not have advanced IT skills should enrol in Certificate II, III or IV in IT. Other Entry Requirements Students will be selected based on their previous academic results and/or employment experience.

    The course is delivered full time, 4 days per week. There will be a heavy emphasis on self directed study with on-line teacher/student and student/student collaboration. The course will be delivered over approximately 720 student contact hours in one year.

    On successfully completing this diploma you will be eligible for employment in a variety of roles, including: high level ICT technical support, database administration, systems engineering, multimedia content authoring, online production, testing, web development/technical writing, product support, webmaster/assistant and website coordination.
