Candidates complete the Graduate Diploma in French in the stream appropriate to their background in the language. Three streams are offered:
Beginners Stream
For candidates with no or very little previous knowledge of French:
* Seven compulsory subjects
* One elective subject
Intermediate Stream
For candidates with four or five years of high school French (or equivalent):
* Five compulsory subjects
* Three elective subjects
Advanced/Post-VCE Stream
For candidates with a minimum of VCE French (or equivalent):
