  • Objectives In this course you will complete a range of specialist coursework units, studying building surveying structures, fire technology, management, law and business codes. You will also complete an independent project report under the guidance of one of our experienced staff.

    Introduction

    This course is designed to improve the professional skills of those employed in local government as building surveyors, and is designed to meet the minimum requirement for a Building Surveying Level 1 accreditation.

    Course Entry Requirements/Prerequisites

    A TAFE certificate, Municipal Building Surveyors certificate, diploma, associate diploma or graduate certificate in building surveying and at least five years senior experience in building surveying.

    Duration and Availability

    This fee-paying course is normally four semesters part-time study.

    Intermediate Awards 1

    A student who has successfully completed the requirements of an approved intermediate award may apply for graduation in that award subject to approval of Head of School/Department. Fees apply. Intermediate award(s) approved for this course are:
