Graduate Diploma of Learning Management (Specialisation)
ObjectivesThe Graduate Diploma of Learning Management (Specialisation) is designed to prepare registered teachers to teach in specialised areas of either Vocational Education and Training or Special Education in a Secondary school.
Entry requirementsTo be eligible for entry into the Graduate Diploma of Learning Management (Specialisation) program an applicant must demonstrate the capacity to undertake the degree by meeting at least one of the three entrance criteria: 1. A four (4) year undergraduate degree from a recognised tertiary institution; 2. A three (3) year undergraduate degree from a recognised tertiary institution plus recognised prior learning (RPL) involving continuous professional development as evidenced by at least one of: * significant contribution to industry; * promotion in the workplace; * recognition by a professional body; * community/industry leadership; * receipt of significant prizes and/or awards; * personal references that attest to the applicant's high level performance in the workplace/industry/community; or * publications/patents/copyright. 3. Other qualifications where the applicant can demonstrate superior RPL of continuous professional development in the areas listed in (2) above.

Simulation Technology & Learning
Participants who exit with a Graduate Diploma of Learning Management (Simulation Technology & Learning) will possess enhanced teaching, training and assessment skills, acquired by the participant at the undergraduate level and/or through extensive workplace experience. They will possess skills appropriate for using simulation technology to facilitate and assess learning. The skills will be embedded in the courses contributing to the program. Participants graduate with the skills to maximize learning using simulation technologies. Certification of the development of these skills will be established via robust assessment procedures.
