ObjectivesThis program is designed to prepare graduate students for higher managerial responsibilities in commerce, industry or government. It will expand the management knowledge of graduates from a wide variety of professions, particularly those who see their future prospects in the middle and top managerial positions of organisations.

CQU's management programs are designed to prepare graduates for higher managerial responsibilities in commerce, industry or government in a wide variety of professions.
Business management studies the nature, operation and role of business, and the resolution of management and administrative problems.

Students must complete 6 courses.
* 5 elective postgraduate courses from the Faculty of Business and Informatics, provided prerequisites have been met; and
* 1 elective postgraduate course selected from any 8 credit point postgraduate course available at CQUniversity, provided prerequisties have been met.
Students wishing to specialise in a particular functional area can enrol in the available courses in that specialisation, while those seeking a broader base to their management education can enrol in a range of functional courses. Commencing students should consult the Postgraduate Program Advisor about a suitable program of study if they are concerned about setting a program that meets their needs, or if they are considering enrolling later in a masters degree program.
