Objectives
The LIFT program is designed to provide an opportunity for people who may not meet the traditional or standard requirements to gain entry into university study. LIFT acknowledges that prospective students have considerable existing skills and ability and deserve the opportunity to study at university.

Entry requirements
To be eligible to enter the Lift Program applicants must be 18 and who are Australian or New Zealand citizens or hold permanent resident or humanitarian visas.

Course description
About LIFT
The LIFT program is designed for people who are initially not eligible to gain entry to university. these preparatory courses can be studied by distance and take 13 weeks to complete. The LIFT program also provides students with access to one free trial of a University award-level course.

Program Structure
The program is offered externally only during Term One, Two and Three. Students will complete one compulsory LIFT course, the undergraduate trial course and any other courses needed in order to provide the student with the necessary prerequisites to commence an Undergraduate degree at CQUniversity
