About the course
The Graduate Certificate in Finance aims to provide training in finance for graduates of other disciplines, specifically providing operational competency in the application of analytical and decision-making techniques, and knowledge about the institutional environment within which such decisions are made.
This Master of Applied Finance is designed to provide students from a range of educational backgrounds with the opportunity to complete postgraduate level education in finance, financial institutions management and funds management.
The Master degree includes specialisations in Banking and Financial Planning.
Articulation and credit
The Graduate Certificate in Finance fully articulates with the Master of Applied Finance, and credit is given in the Master degree for subjects successfully passed in the Graduate Certificate.
Students may elect to graduate from the Master of Applied Finance after the completion of the four subjects in the Graduate Certificate in Finance.
Professional accreditation
Students who complete the six specialist financial planning subjects are able to apply for advanced standing for the technical units of the CFP Program. For more details, click here.
Graduation requirements
To graduate with the Graduate Certificate in Finance, students must satisfactorily complete 32 points (four subjects).
To graduate with the Master of Applied Finance, students must satisfactorily complete 96 points (12 subjects).
