About the course
This program aims to serve the needs of students who wish to further their understanding of the management function generally as well as its practice in particular professional or occupational areas.
Graduates will develop analytical, problem-solving, and strategic skills that are relevant to management in any professional or occupational area, as well as the technical skills and knowledge required for senior management positions in specialist areas.
These skills will be imparted through the delivery of high quality educational material, which will include case studies and assignments focusing on managerial problems.
Study at CSU Study Centres
Master of Business is available through the CSU Study Centres in Sydney and Melbourne for domestic and international students. Please note that there are only selected specialisations offered at the Study Centres (i.e. Finance, Information Technology, International Management and Marketing).

On campus option
Whilst the main form of delivery for the Master of Business is by distance education, core and some specialist subjects in the degree will be offered on the Albury-Wodonga Campus of Charles Sturt University in the part-time mode.

Credit
The Australian Defence Force Higher Education Advance Standing Scheme (ADFHEAS Scheme) is an initiative allowing Defence Force Members to use their education and training gained in Defence as "Advanced Standing" or "credit" towards specific university-awarded qualifications.
Graduation requirements
To graduate with the Master of Business students must satisfactorily complete 96 points, equivalent to 12 subjects.
To graduate with the extended version of the Master of Business, students must complete 128 points, equivalent to 16 subjects.
Students will graduate from the Master of Business with the award MBus.
Students who complete 32 points may exit with the award Graduate Certificate in Business (GradCertBus).
Students completing 64 points may exit with the award Graduate Diploma of Business (GradDipBus).
