Course descriptionTrees and forests play a critical role in providing wildlife habitats, supplying timber to industry, helping to ensure clean water supplies, combating land degradation, controlling climate change and providing space for human recreation. Professional foresters are essential in helping to maintain these vital resources. The Master of Forest Ecosystem Science prepares students for careers in forestry and natural resource management and provides a pathway to further study within a PhD program.
The course is taught, in part, at the Creswick Campus only 15 kilometres from Ballarat, adjoining a 610 hectare demonstration forest.
This course has Austudy approval.
