ObjectivesA cross-institutional Master of Nursing degree (by Coursework) enabling the student to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to apply for registration as a Nurse Practitioner to the Nurses and Midwives Board of Western Australia. Developed in conjunction with the Flinders University in South Australia, Part One of the program enables the student to first enhance their individual knowledge and skill whilst working in their selected area of specialisation and then, through the second part of the program, to acquire the theoretical knowledge and skills required of a Nurse Practitioner in a specialist nurse or extended practice role.
Entry requirementsA relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent prior learning including at least five years appropriate professional experience. Special admission requirements Students are required to provide: * A letter of support for practical training and support from your employer is required; * A letter of support from an approved Clinical Mentor; and * Evidence of a minimum of 20 hours employment per week in clinical specialty
