ObjectivesEnables students to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to apply for registration as a Nurse Practitioner to the Nurses Board of Western Australia. Developed in conjunction with the Flinders University in South Australia, part one of the program enables the student to first enhance their individual knowledge and skill whilst working in their selected area of specialisation and then through the second part of the program to acquire the theoretical knowledge and skills required of a Nurse Practitioner in a specialist nurse or extended practice role.
Entry requirementsA relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent prior learning including at least five years appropriate professional experience. A letter of support for practical training and support from your employer is required.
