  • Objectives This master level course is designed to extend your academic and research background in science and technology. It is particularly useful if you are a graduate of another scientific discipline seeking employment in a multidisciplinary science environment. This course focuses particularly on the application of computer science to problems of a technical, industrial and applied nature. You will learn to conduct and manage research and development in a technical environment before undertaking a series of major research project units. Your research projects will provide you with the opportunity to develop strong communication and research skills while you gain a deeper understanding of the fundamentals of computer science.
  • Entry requirements A bachelor degree in science or equivalent. An honours degree in science or a relevant postgraduate diploma is a prerequisite for direct entry into the second year of this course.
