ObjectivesThe Master of Tourism (MTM) program is designed for students requiring advanced knowledge within the tourism discipline. This program prepares students for senior professional and managerial roles. Students complete a program of core business subjects and advanced tourism subjects designed to enhance their conceptual, analytical, and management abilities.
Entry requirementsAdmission to the Master of Tourism Management (MTM) program requires successful completion of a recognised Bachelor degree or qualifications and/or relevant professional experience deemed equivalent by the Faculty Dean.

International Students: To fulfil your student visa requirements, you’ll need to enrol in 30cp per semester. However, you may enrol in 40cp per semester (with your Program Advisor’s authorisation) which will reduce the time to complete your program.
Domestic Students have the option of undertaking either 30 or 40cp per semester.

Work Experience & Internships
Some students without practical work experience, or with workplace experience in a field different from their studies, choose to undertake an internship as part of their degree. This intensely practical professional development approach fosters graduates who are ready, willing and able to hit the ground running and make an immediate impact in the workplace.
