ObjectivesStudents who complete the postgraduate diploma should:
* have an understanding of the philosophy and scope of geography as a discipline;
* have undertaken advanced study in a specialised branch of geography as determined by the student;
* have acquired expertise in research skills and methods used to assess and analyse physical and/or human geographical processes;
* have undertaken research in a specialised branch of geography of their choice and submitted a thesis.
