Objectives
This major, which can be studied as part of the Bachelor of Agribusiness, will provide you with agribusiness management and marketing education. You will undertake technical training in equine science, health, nutrition, exercise physiology and horse breeding. You will also develop skills which will enable you to assume a leadership role within the equine industry, as well as in the broader agribusiness sector.

Course description
Equine Management Major
Introduction
This major provides students with agribusiness management and marketing education and training combined with technical training in equine science, equine breeding and equine nutrition. It provides an opportunity to meet the need for management and marketing skills education in the equine industry. The learning model enables those to gain research skills that will enable them to assume leadership roles within the equine industry as well as in the broader agribusiness sector.

Equine Management Major (within Bachelor of Agribusiness) is 3 years full-time study or equivalent part-time.
