This apprenticeship takes up to 4 years to complete, although it may be possible to gain time exemptions based on existing competency or accelerated learning achievements. During the first 3 years you will attend a set number of one week study blocks at BRIT.

Employment Opportunities
This qualification is nationally recognised for employment in the
automotive vehicle body repair trade. It can also lead you into careers such as owning your own
vehicle body repair business, management, parts sales, vehicle sales and teaching in the automotive field.

You will be assessed as part of this course.

28 units of competence are required to complete this qualification within the specific requirements as set out in the three areas below:

AURV371481A Implement and monitor environmental regulations and best practice in the body repair industry (applicable specifically to those in a body repair workshop)

THREE 6 units of competence from the Retail, Service and Repair or any endorsed training package that meet the needs of the enterprise
