Objectives
This course provides the knowledge and skills required for a teaching career in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) environment. This includes VCAL, VET in Schools and working in a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
If you hold the former qualification (i.e. Workplace Trainer and Assessor), you can complete an upgrade to the latest qualification.

Entry requirements
There are no formal prerequisites, however you are expected to have sound language, literacy, numeracy and computer skills in word processing and internet browsing/searching.
You have to hold a vocational qualification in the area in which you wish to teach. Ideally, you should also be employed in a position where training can be carried out.
Other Entry Requirements
Positions are based on availability, successful completion of a language, literacy, numeracy and computer skills assessment, and interview by the course coordinator.
