Employment Opportunities
On successfully completing this course you will be eligible for employment as an engineering technician, providing technical support in research and development, design, planning, production, operations, and maintenance in the engineering field, working under the direction of engineers, technologists and other associates.
There are significant employment opportunities in this field in the Bendigo region, and enormous opportunities nationally.
Further Study Options
The successful completion of the Diploma of Engineering Technology can lead to the Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology, which in turn can lead to engineering studies at degree level.
Although BRIT offers certain units leading to the Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology, it does not currently offer a full course, and students would need to complete the Advanced Diploma at another institution.
