Enrolment
Domestic Students: You have the option of undertaking either 30 or 40cp per semester.
Bond’s teaching methodology involves a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, examinations, projects, presentations, assignments, computer labs and industry projects.
Intesive Mode Delivery
Intensive Mode Delivery (IMD) is a compacted and time efficient way for students to complete their postgraduate qualification with minimal impact for students on their work/home lifestyle.
It is anticipated that students will attend two, 3-day sessions, per subject, scheduled Thursday to Saturday each week. Approximately 6 to 8 contact hours per day. Students will receive approximately 40 hours of combined lectures, discussion groups, case studies and workshops during their weekly contact hours.
Intensive Mode Delivery is currently available to domestic students only. International students should enquire with the Faculty of Business, Technology and Sustainable Development.
Professional Outcomes
Completion of all four subjects qualifies graduates to work as a professional asset or facilities manager in sectors such as property maintenance, infrastructure development, facilities planning, corporate real estate, local council works or tourism and hospitality. Students are introduced to industry standard software, which is embedded in the curriculum. There are strong employment prospects for qualified asset and/or facilities managers in Australia, and overseas.
Graduates are also eligible to articulate to the University’s Master of Sustainable Development degree or pursue other available postgraduate study options.
COURSE STRUCTURE
Students must complete the following two subjects:
* Strategic Facilities Management
* Advanced Asset Management
Students can then select to complete the following two subjects or other approved postgraduate subjects offered by the Mirvac School of Sustainable Development:
* Property Life Cycle Costing
* Asset and Facilities Management
Graduates are also eligible to articulate to the University’s Master of Sustainable Development degree or pursue other available postgraduate study options after completing the Graduate Certificate in Asset and Facilities Management.
