This course is not available for on-campus study by students on an International student visa.
This course structure contains information about the units which comprise the course as well as the credit points required to successfully complete it.
The course has two stages. Each stage is equivalent to one semester full time. A total of 120 credit points is required to complete the course.
All units are offered online and on campus unless stated otherwise.
Stage 1
Unit Description Points
Two compulsory units:
CSI4104 Information Security 15
CSI4110 Introduction to Information Warfare 15
plus any two units selected from the following:
CSI4102 Computer Security 15
CSI4205 Computer Facilities Security 15
CSI4206 Database Security 15
CSI4207 Network Security Fundamentals 15
PHR4102 Critical Thinking 15
ICS4000 Terrorism 15
CSI4102 Computer Security and CSI4207 Network Security Fundamentals must be taken by students who plan to undertake the coursework option of the Master of Information Security and Intelligence's Stage 3.
