Objectives
You will learn how to make decisions within a predictable range of tasks and work with a wide range of horses, including those that are flighty and/or of high economic value. You will work mostly in and around horse stables, on studs and will have some exposure to competition events. By completing this course, you will be able to carry out a range of duties including handling, feeding, grooming and caring for performance horses as well as attending competition events.
